The Churchill Hotel

A great hotel for a weekend in York close to the walls and the station. Rooms were comfortable and clean. The staff friendly and helpful.

Good, a lovely building with an excellent location, unfortunately a couple of staff members at breakfast were a little rude and unhelpful

We came for a day/night out and the following day shopping and to see the sights, the staff were great! Service and food quality were exceptional. Would highly recommend

This hotel was part of a most enjoyable Christmas visit to York. Hotel location is a short walk from the city walls and the Minster. A walk through the city gardens is an attractive alternative route to the city. The hotel was a lovely refuge at the end of the day when it got dark and we stayed in the hotel bar in the evening and used the restaurant or the bar menu. The staff are excellent, in particular we found the bar staff welcoming.
The hotel is exceptionally clean, well decorated with an attractive modern town house style.

Would recommend this hotel to anyone. Great atmosphere, lovely staff and excellent food and in a prime location. Very pleasant stay and we're looking forward to our next visit.

We stayed at the Churchill for our daughters graduation.We had a lovely breakfast before a short walk to the Minster.The staff were very friendly and helpful and our room was very clean and warm.
