Great apart from paying too much for a standard room when I booked a superior room. The location was fantastic.

Very good, staff friendly, room comfortable. Loved the room decor, I'm a great Spitfire fan! Will try band come again.

Almost 200£ per night in a family room and it doesn´t include breakfast!!!
In addition you have to pay 10£ per day for the parking.

Above all our experience at the Churchill was no different from every other time we have stayed there over the past twenty years it was first class service and the staff are brilliant, cannot fault this hotel in anyway and we will continue to go there in the future.
P.s love the refurbishment, very classy....

Very nice and pleasant staying. Clean, spacious and calm room, warmly decorated, really up the standards expected. Excellent bed and modern bathroom. Just a minor detail that for me is not a problem: the carpet in the area next to the bed is worn, but that could be easily solved by just covering it (room 132) with a bed carpet. The staff was very helpful, kind and polite, this is highly appreciated. I truly recommend this hotel and will come back.

A lovely place in an ideal location (apart from the occasional train). The staff were very helpful and the room was clean and comfortable

Wonderful
Just husband broke his little for on tile step round bath, so spoilt our weekend as was in pain and our 25th anniversary

Bar prices for both food and drink were a little expensive and there was not much choice. Also decor was a bit dark

We visited as York is very special to us and it was our wedding anniversary. It was the first stay at the Churchill and it made our visit ever so more special. The hotel was in an ideal location, looked beautiful and wonderfully furnished. Next year I hope to try the restaurant/bar and spend a little more time with you.
