Excellent throughout and well located for the town centre. I enjoyed my stay and couldn’t have asked for more.

Nice couple of nights in lovely hotel.
Slightly disappointed with the price of parking.
Maybe reduced parking in January & February.

A great place to stay in York lovely room great staff really nice food and a good location not far from the city centre had the choice of several hotels when booking but l believe l picked the right one and would definitely come back again when staying in York

We very much enjoyed our stay. The staff were lovely. So friendly, helpful and attentive. The hotel has a really nice old style ambience and is in a perfect location. Just a short stroll from the buzzing centre of York.

Ideally located, friendly staff and a lovely looking, well maintained hotel.
Even though we booked a small double room, it had all we needed for a short stay with a great shower too!

Overall very good service for the price and very good location easy to reach all the important sites in the city.

Close to everything so very convenient for exploring York. Front desk staff were always lovely. Room service was fast, however food was below average and some menu items (pigs in blankets on loaded fries) were substituted without notice.

Disappointing , this was a special break for my partner who is on a cancer journey, it was her birthday treat, it cost over 500 pound so I expected better

Overall good. Pity bar was closed when we came back from friends at 11 pm. Receptionist was very helpful.2
