Very welcoming stay. Rooms a little on small size but okay for 1 night. Staff very helpful ideally located.

wonderful. I was a lovely mini break and so handy to be near the mInister and all the bars and restaurants.

overall pleased with stay. Staff very helpful when checking in / out etc. Room was good size for family of 4.

The room was very nice and the location of the hotel is fantastic. But I could have done without the couple in the next room (at least I think it was just the 2 people) who "loved each other very much" for over 2 hours, well passed midnight.

Pleasant staff on reception & serving breakfast. Room compact with all facilities required. Funky boutique interior decor.

I booked a superior room and was disappointed,thought it rather small compared to our friends superior room they had booked.
Bar staff seemed a bit put out that they had guests in the bar ?

A nice place to stay whilst exploring york.
Although the room was smaller than advertised (must have had a wall moved since the advertised pictures) room 127 was great for a family break and the room had everything we needed to be comfortable throughout our stay.

Great location, staff were welcoming and very attentive to our requirements. Just needed a larger room, no.14 is a tad limit on space.

Lovely hotel... will definitely return. Rooms not the largest, but compensated by the floor to ceiling windows

Average to okay. Not good value for money paid. Wouldn't recommend your property on evidence of our recent stay.
