A wonderful 4-day break. Praise must go to the staff, whatever position or level. Without them the hotel could not operate and provide such a lovely atmosphere.

The hotel is well situated in the city, set in pleasant gardens. The staff are particularly helpful and well trained in providing genuine hospitality. My wife and I had a really pleasant experience which could have been enhanced with a bigger bed and feather pillows.

Overall experience was really good ....Very well done and very well looked after. The only thing was We had to leave the bar/ atrium area earlier then we would have liked on boxing night ....As there were three woman vapour smoking and it triggers my asthma. Two were sitting by the table against the mirror...One had two children at their little table by the piano .....They were all together and were not trying to hide it. I informed a staff member at the bar but she just looked surprise as if she didn't know what I was saying . ....And said nothing back to me.

Lovely hotel that was different to the others. Staff were so helpful and kind. Bunker room was completely clean and a refreshing change to hotel rooms I’ve stayed in before. Would definitely stay again.

Good experience overall, for the cost improvements could be made to improve the finishing touch. Noisy room was the main problem.

Excellent overall, we would definitely stay here again. The location was excellent. Welcoming, friendly staff. The breakfast and restaurant were excellent. The corridors were gloomy and the carpet shabby in areas. We had an average triple room which was adequate for our two night stay, although the bathroom was small. A member of our party had a double room next door, which although small, had a superior bathroom.

Reality didn't quite match up to the website pictures. It was okay, but the corridor and carpets on the way to our rooms looked like they could do with a good steam cleaning. For the price of the rooms (and compared to other places we stayed in the UK on our holiday), we felt it was overpriced. On a plus note, the location was good and the staff were friendly and helpful.
