Good reception service but slightly disappointed with bedroom, particularly the room temperature and the inability to modify this

We enjoyed our stay, the location was excellent and staff were helpful and friendly. Unfortunately we encountered a couple of hiccups as described above, these would not stop us from re-visiting

The staff and their service at the hotel is good, and the rooms typical of a 4* city hotel - on the small side but well laid out. Unfortunately what was once an incredibly good restaurant offering great value for money has become a standard brasserie with food not much different from anywhere else. Whilst the catering is OK, it no longer reaches The Churchill's previous heights and I would no longer go out of my way to stay here, or dine here.

A very pleasant experience, would recommend The Churchill Hotel. Unfortunately didn't get to use all of the facilities, but experience we did have was very good.

Overall the experience of staying at the Churchill was good. One small issue was with the bed, which wasn't very comfortable.
The pillows were a bit lumpy but I was especially disappointed with the level of bed making after I returned from my day out. Basically the duvet had just been straightened over the top of the ruffled bottom sheet.
Overall the staff were very welcoming and nice.

It was okay, expensive for the class of accommodation .Decore dated now, it may have a link to Churchill but, bring things up to date. Seems an easy way to avoud refurbishment. Would I return, I doubt it.

Great location, only a few minutes walk from the minster, shambles, shops, bars and restaurants. All hotel staff were very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable.
