Beautiful hotel, under 5min walk from old town, very clean. Stuff are very friendly and they will go that extra mile to make you feel comfortable. A big thank you to those two young people who worked in the restaurant and brought the food to our room without us even asking (during the dinner a family problem occurred and we weren't able to finish it). Highly recommend it!

Pleasant and beautiful hotel room. The staff were really friendly! Glad we decided to travel by train though as parking is £10 per night!!!!!!

The hotel location is excellent for exploring the city of York. It is very close to all the main attractions. Our room was small compared to what we have previously experienced in other hotels. The bedroom was very clean and the shower/bathroom was great. We did resent the additional charge of £10 per night to park our car.

We arranged for our wedding ceremony to take place at The Churchill and they did us proud. We were able to keep in contact with the same person at all times and she was extremely accomodating, helpng us with every aspect of the organisation. On the day, the hotel staff managed the day for us discretely and professionally. We stayed for two nights for a minimoon in a lovely room. The staff and the hotel building itself made our special day, a very special day indeed. Thanks for the memories.
