The Churchill Hotel

Room too small for the price we paid, the bed was very uncomfortable, one night a neighbour had there television on very loud. We couldn't sleep, informed the reception, they did go to the room. They did turn the tv down then, but as soon as the staff had left the tv went back to loud. I was not impressed.

We had a small double room comfortable clean bedroom.reception staff were freindly and helpful
Was not that keen on breakfast .dinner was nice could have been extra vegetables
Would certainly stay again

Good room and impressed by service from staff - including changing sheets on bed on arrival due to spillage and changing over to double bed - REALLY appreciated.

Wonderful, a great place, and really lovely staff. We were made to feel so welcome and taken care of. Great décor and building, and a great spot for getting around town too.

Excellent experience and would recommend to anyone who is coming to York for the weekend. Definitely try the gins they have to offer

Very good, just a bit pricey. The parking charge wasn't mentioned when I booked and a bit excessive in my opinion

We had a wonderful time here and will be coming back, only very small things that needed attention in the room. The only thing major I would change is the parking fee for guests.

Thoroughly enjoyable stay. The hotel appears very well maintained and all staff were helpful. The décor was much more interesting than you normally find at a chain hotel and gave an overall feel of luxury.
