Overall good experience with helpful polite staff and smart deco. Purpose of trip was to be out in York more but would stay again and explore the hotel facilities more.

Overall I was okay. This was our third time here and love the location but on this occasion was very disappointed with the wrong we were in so nosy.

Beautiful hotel with very efficient friendly staff and delicious food. The location is very convenient for York tourist attractions.

Very poor and wouldn't recommend it to family and friends if asked. Location is good, breakfast was good but room very poor.

Very comfortable and relaxed. Only problem was the inconsistent heating, one evening the radiator was on all the time, another evening it wasn’t on at all.

Great hotel in a good location. I have stayed twice now and will choose this hotel the next time I’m in York

We have stayed her a couple of times before and since finding this hotel we wouldn’t book to stay anywhere else. The place is filled with Churchill memorabilia and has been sympathetically renovated to the buildings era. The staff are wonderful and have always gone above and beyond to ensure your stay is just perfect, nothing is too much trouble. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting York
