Normally love this hotel, but had 2 rooms near a main corridor door & was woken at 6am by the door creaking & people talking! Staff v polite & pleasant as always!

Great location. Parking available but a bit pricey. Never had to pay for parking at a hotel before!!!

Very good, lovely staff who could not be more helpful. Excellent location, within easy walking distance of York centre.

We had a lovely stay as it was for a special occasion wedding anniversary. The staff were very friendly and welcoming

Nice hotel . Pleasant stay, good location close to York centre. Would have been nice to have breakfast included in price

Excellent location within walking distance of all the sights. Hotel showing wear and tear. Bathroom lighting terrible and extractor fan very noisy. Service very routine, not engaged. Food in restaurant terrible: overcooked and looked as if it had been reheated several times.

Beautifully decorated hotel in an excellent location. Staying in 'the bunker' room was a real experience!
