Had a great time, reception staff great, Location fantastic, Bar staff very friendly and helpful, very nice food In the bar, very relaxing hotel.
Would recommend The Churchill Hotel.

very nice hotel, lovely room, good position a short walk from York minster. Only quibble was £10 for car park which I thought was a bit steep

Nice hotel, nice room but on lower ground floor and very low ceiling and quiet noisy from above. Staff showed us to our room but via back stairs past the toilets, would have been a better experience to take us through the public areas and introduce us to the facilities which we may then have used

Lovely, would stay again. The hotel was well located, the room was clean and comfortable and the staff were all very friendly.

Excellent. Service was exceptional (and very friendly). The room was large and very well appointed. Would definitely Stay again.

Overall was ok. As I said earlier, I was rather unimpressed by the car parking charge of £10 for guests of the hotel by booking via Booking.com.

No lounge, small room , had the weather been bad , would not want to stay in our room, but then ,there wasn't another room to relax in ?
I think it's important in a hotel to have a nice relaxing lounge .

After staying in York many times over the years we had always said we would stay in this hotel and so paid 284.00 for a superior double room not knowing that we would be in the basement with a worn window which I could here water running most night also feet pounding above also when you walk in the room it smelt funny. Not what we expected and staff whilst friendly when we spoke there was not much friendly talk. The breakfast we tried on the last morning was not great again for the money we paid we expected better. Would not be back but ideal location to city centre

Excellent stay. Lovely hotel which was very central to the centre of York. Very friendly staff. I would say the hotel was closer to 4* than 3*. Very modern and clean.
Only downside was I feel being charged £10 for the car park per night just because I booked on a booking site and not direct is pretty poor.
