I loved my room (141, packed with on-style, Churchill-themed quirk), the hospitality of the staff and the superb location of The Churchill, just minutes away from the old quarter of York. Overall, a superb experience. I'll certainly be back. Thank you!

Very warm and welcoming even when we arrived at 1030pm. Had not eaten and they made us sandwiches in the bar.
A delightful hotel.

Very attractive from the outside; generally nice inside too, from limited view - only stayed one night and didn't go into restaurant. The corridors were very dark - obviously designed that way but seemed a little gloomy. I don't know why they don't just include parking - £10 extra charge can't be popular with anyone. Overall a good stay made excellent by general friendliness of the staff.

Good hotel, but dissapointing that the complementary biscuits in the room has been changed to everyday two finger kitkats

Not the best experience the room was terribly small. Not what I expected for over a £100. We were told it had city views it didn't. Breakfast was good except we waited for 40 minutes to receive it. The waitress was very friendly. Decent location but the room let it down for me hugely.

Lovely, clean hotel with courteous staff. We will definitely visit here again on our next trip to York.

Had a great stay and staff extremely friendly, helpful and welcoming. Really enjoyed the grazing menu and was nice having a view of the Minster from the room.

Fairly good. Location of hotel more than makes up for minor discrepancies. £10 charge per night for parking came as bit of a surprise.
