Slightly disappointed we were looking forward to the stay as it was a gift from our Daughter and Son in law, the Restaurant experience was poor, with little interest shown when we brought up our disappointment, others also were heard having the same issues.

The stay was bought as a gift. The hotel is ideally placed for visitors to York. A short walk puts you bang in the middle of the city.

The carpet needs replacing and guests should be allowed to park for free as £10 on top of the room rate is a lot to ask
If guests ask for special requests regards how they like their food cooked it should be delivered

A real treat ! Red letter day voucher and more, paying for drinks, £5 supliment for steak and any sides, but apart from that all in. Modern twist on a menu with flair and great flavours.

Fab! The hotel is lovely, & staff are very polite & helpful. Our room was great, as we had been upgraded to the Prince of Wales suite. 5 stars.
