Paying £10 to park our car in the hotel car park was a shock too. Superior rooms All underground . This needs to be put on booking info for people like myself who suffer panic attacks etc. Could not use the sink in the bathroom with out closing the door . Again very small bathroom space . I know it has a ww2 theme . But small room for a superior.

Fantastic staff in a fantastic hotel. Stunning decor in a beautiful building. Absolutely incredible breakfast.

We had an excellent experience and couldn't fault it. We will definitely look to return to the Churchill on return trips to York.

Pretty average but less than expected. We would visit again but get a bigger room. The location is great just a short walk Into the heart of York. Parking is also on site, safe and reasonably priced

Very good. Easy access to the city. The hotel in a quiet location. As with most hotels the room door closing could be quieter

Very good as I allways enjoy the location and hire food and drink . Great place to stay as just a short walk into the city with the parking being at the hotel is great to.

Enjoyable stay, nice room, overall decor gives a feel for the churchill era, Friendly, helpfull staff, easy check-in and check-out.
