The hotel has a gloomy decor but the staff were bright and cheerful. The room was too small to be really comfortable. Location is the best aspect of the hotel.

Non existent as we were unable to arrive on our chosen date. When I conotated Churchill hotel to try and changer our date was informed it was not possible as our booking was a Red Letter booking, not impressential will not be booking the Churchill hotel in York in the future

A pleasant hotel close to the city centre of York. The room was clean and comfortable and the staff were friendly and helpful. An ideal spot for a weekend getaway.

York was part of four trip and the hotel and experience was the best part, the hotel is beautiful and atmospheric and the food possibly the best we've ever had. Wonderful Thank you.

The room was poor and that's one of the key factors in any stay. So although the other areas were OK, I rate the experience as poor. Your 71% rating is therefore somewhat flattering.

Very good location and a lovely period property with a lot of history. We have already recommended it to others and would definitely visit again.
Quirky decor.
Ample parking and could just leave the car and not drive again until departure

Very good location with onsite car parking. Friendly welcome and comfortable clean rooms.
