Carpet in the room was thread bare in places and ripped in one corner, room 132.
And the carpark charge is a joke

Had a pleasant stay. Staff was very friendly and made me feel welcomed. Room was nicely furnished and I appreciated the hospitable warm drinks and chocolate. Thank you for the stay!

Excellent. Would definitely recommend and not hesitate to rebook when next visiting the area. No need to use car as as hotel was ideally situated.

Excellent location but would not want to stay again because of the very poor facilities in the room.

Overall I would come back again but different room something not on the ground floor and for a much longer time 2 days and also regret not eating in the hotel.

Very good hotel, in an excellent location, with a fantastic breakfast. We would definately use again for our next stay in York.

Excellent one night stay, few minor changes would have made the room perfect! Location was even better than expected. Staff fantastic!

Great stay and excellent value for money. Breakfast particularly good served by attentive staff. Ideal location for getting into the city.
