Good - we would definitely come back to the hotel if we revisited York. The location was excellent as it was very near the town centre but just far enough out to be quiet.

Lovely breakfast although in to a second pot or tea before full English came. Very dark and box like interior bit disappointed

Excellent well-situated hotel in York, with an original decoration. The room was very cleaned and the staff were so friendly

Service excellent very friendly staff and great location, lovely view of Minster from our bedroom window
Waitress on breakfast shift particularly friendly.

Overall it was ok but the woman in the reception is not very nice and the bedroom was noisy because was next to a road and a train rail.

The hotel is a short walk away from the centre of York and is in a lovely area of the city. We enjoyed our stay here very much, thanks.

Very good weekend very comfortable and friendly hotel. Bar area was very pleasant. Day 1 breakfast was poor but day two was excellent.

Ok but small room and not made clear when booking that the hotel charge £10 for using their car park

Location was good, about 10 minutes walk to anything you need. The service was good although not necessarily exceptional. The room have 3 beds+1 extra bed, making it very affordable for us students.
