We would stay again. But I would book a larger room. Very friendly staff and fabulous location. Lovely breakfast! Would like to stay in Summer.

The room was beautiful
Service in the restaurant was poor

The smoke alarm going off at 10-45 pm wasn't ideal either!

Beautiful hotel ideal location shops a short walk away my parking available on site for a charge but worth it

This was our second stay and we would stay again. I like the hotel for it's parking, staff friendliness, cleanliness, location and atmosphere. We've not been when the weather has been warm but will one day try and beer garden!

Did not live up to expectations as already explained earlier in appraisal. Gateway tight when turning in left from Bootham, parking spaces tight and we couldn’t see any spaces for Disabled Parking.

Excellent especially the welcoming, friendly service from the Reception staff. We have stayed at the Churchill many times over recent years and have always experienced the same pleasant, helpful attitude.
