Disappointing. Expensive for a three star hotel. Room was in basement and felt like it, meal in restaurant very poor. On the positive side staff very very friendly and efficient. Parking was a nightmare - impossible to turn car round due to people parking in restricted areas (not policed by hotel staff). They need to extend the carpark if they are to have same number of guests. People had to back out of the (very narrow) gates onto a busy A road. Would not recommend or return.

Not wonderful all in all, when we came out of our room there was an overpowering smell of cooked breakfast.... The pace was overheated and stuffy. And the breakfast is overpriced for what it is and there was nothing extra ordinary about it.

All in all the only thing going for the hotel is its location.

An excellent stay in the prince of Wales suite. The staff were attentive at all times. Overall a lovely experience, would highly recommend.

We enjoyed our time at the hotel but didn't like our room which was 141 as it was dark, warm and claustrophobic. However, the hotel was great and I'm sure the other rooms were lovely.

Really enjoyed our stay. Staff very polite, welcoming and helpful. The room was spacious, very clean and comfortable and well equipped. The only slight disappointment was the breakfast.

Although we stayed for only one night we found the staff and service to be very good and would not hesitate to book at the Churchill again.
