Lovely hotel. Staff were fantastic. Only gripe being when i booked direct i am 90% sure i was told tgat the parking charge would not apply. But i cannot be 100% sure. I paid £20 parking on leaving. Otherthan that a fantastic experience

Great! Loved the decor and spacious room.
One tiny point- our Room could have been cooler /more ventilated with fans/aircon, as even with window it was stuffy, but it was a pretty rare summer eve that was very hot and humid, (a small point on an otherwise wonderful hotel experience overall.)

A very enjoyable two night stay. Very friendly but professional staff. The room was very warm so I asked if we could have a fan and it was in our room instantly.

Despite our room being in the dungeon, it was OK. However, we would not be prepared to stay in a similar room again.

York and its cathedral are a nice place to visit.
