Most enjoyable. The room was reasonable size and very comfortable. The location was very quiet despite being so central. We will definitely return!

The staff were all very friendly and appeared very happy in their work. We have never come away from a hotel so so impressed by the staff

Only stayed 2 nights hotel room was noisy due to air locked central heating which stopped us sleeping. Great location but a little expensive at £220 p.n. didn't use in house catering used nearby pubs for good cheaper food options.

Lovely hotel in convenient location with good food and drink and fine service. Would recommend when visiting York

We loved the room, felt like being at home rather than a hotel, our only disappointment was the shower pressure which very low

Very friendly staff. Very good ambience to the hotel. The food at dinner and at breakfast was first class.

Excellent Hotel the staff were very friendly, helpful and informative. The meals were very good even dare I say a touch large, but that is not a complaint. Would I stay there again, definitely we would.

Lovely stay. Service on reception was wonderful especially from Ian. A very nice hotel, a few minutes from York centre and great value.

We were greeted by Ian when we arrived and he made us feel welcome and carried my suitcase down to our room! He also was helpful in explaining the best way to get to Yorkminster etc and how get to the train station in the early morning. After going out for the evening, we returned to see the beautiful white lights in the garden and it was a welcome sight! We sat out in the garden to relax before we went in to our room to sleep. We said later that we would have enjoyed to stay longer at the Churchill and see more of York.

Food was ok first morning they didn’t bring us our toast etc, second morning was better however over priced for what it is
