Absolutely excellent apart from the car park was charged for twice. Our stay was a gift including overnight parking bought last December for my husband’s 70th birthday. Shortly before our stay we were sent an email asking if we wanted to arrange early check in, car parking and late checkout. We didn’t realise the gift voucher included car parking to the value of £18 so promptly paid for early check in and overnight car parking at a total of £26. Very disappointed that we were not advised that the car parking was included in the gift voucher, paid for by my husband’s brother. Great hotel, location and staff, just disappointed.

However, we are sorry to learn of your disappointment regarding the car parking charge. We understand how frustrating it must have been to be charged separately for something that was already included in your gift voucher. Unfortunately, we have limited control over the information contained within the emails sent out automatically ahead of arrival, especially when bookings are made via third parties or with vouchers, which can sometimes lead to these misunderstandings. Your comments highlight an important area where we can improve our communication and ensure voucher inclusions are as clear as possible for future guests.
