Had a lovely stay in york as usual however this time we were unable to book the pod as we have in previous years as there was no option for two people on line.

Wonderful! We will return - and have already done so several times. The Churchill is our 'go to' place in York. The whole team are fantastic and very welcoming and friendly, the rooms spot on and the bar and restaurant great. Perfect location for an easy stroll into town and an on site car park is a bonus.

It is a family run business whose attention to detail and willingness to make your stay enjoyable has to be highly commended. We came away with only good memories and the feeling we had made new good friends who we look forward to seeing again soon. Absolutely the best hotel we have stayed in.

Lovely! The staff were really excellent, we went just before Christmas when I’m sure they’d like to be with their loved ones they still made us feel really special.

As it was a Christmas break, we compared it to others we have had elsewhere and found it far superior - from the efficiency, politeness and professionalism of the staff to the quality of the food. The attention to the design and decoration of the rooms was impressive as well.

Lovely hotel full of character. Staff in reception very welcoming. Mulled wine and mince pie on arrival fantastic!
Lots of information given regarding places to visit and taxis. Good welcome with a map of the city .

Another great stay at this beautiful hotel only let down by the size of the room, apart from that the location of the hotel is excellent and the staff are also excellent.
