Excellent hotel with amazing staff. Simply nothing is too much trouble

This hotel is outstanding.
From the staff service, to the food and just a great atmosphere were your made to feel welcome and truly looked after..

Great experience overall. Room was clean, staff friendly and polite. Hotel was easily accessible by car and only a 5 minute walk to the city centre

We came for the Christmas experience and had a lovely time. The pre ordered food was excellent, the staff were friendly couldn't have been more helpful. The only small niggle was the size of the room and the lack of useful space on one side of the bed. We would come again but book a larger room

It’s the fourth time we’ve stayed that says a lot about the hotel friendly staff and always clean would recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing stay

Excellent will book earlier next time to get a bigger room as bottom was a bit small out requests were met which was lovely

We have stayed at The Churchill many times now. Everything is always good and the staff are kind and friendly. The menu is excellent and the chef inspired.

I would strongly recommend The Churchill to all visitors to York. The location is great, a short walk to The Minster and the shopping, traditional unique and reminiscent of times gone by.

Absolutely amazing! It was our wedding anniversary and a member of staff in reception upgraded our room to a stunning room. It was so incredibly kind of him and our experience at your hotel was just brilliant. Staff in your hotel were just lovely. It was very pleasant just had higher expectations since paying similar price for a hotel in London and was alot posher
