Welcome reception was poor
Overnight parking fee not very welcome

We were pleasantly surprised by this quirky hotel and it's magnificent building and superb renovation. Fabulous, convenient position close to the historic centre of York and the York Gallery. Most impressed with the high quality breakfast and service, which was beautifully put together and delicious. Would recommend and look forward to returning. Many thanks.

Perfect place for our wedding anniversary. Wish we had booked longer, great value and will be booking again. Perfect couple of days. Thankyou Churchill hotel, thankyou to all the staff.

It's the people that make this hotel - I mentioned that I would be going straight to bed and checking out early so the staff on reception changed my room to one they knew would be extra quiet - even though I've never had a noisy one there, the thought and the extra mile from the staff made all the difference to the experience.
