Very good the only thing you can hear the cleaning about two in the morning were they must be doing the housework

Friendly helpful staff remembered us from last year brilliant location for bus & taxi, Neil I think was so amazing with my elderly Mum thank you so much we will be back wonderful breakfast clean room tea & coffee really lovely

Delighted to be given a ground floor room with provision of a suction rail and stool for the shower. Bathroom storage was great, use of the towel rail took some working out. We had to move the room's furniture against the door for me to negotiate inside the bedroom after retiring. The biggest problem with the room though was that the sash window would not stay open until we wedged filled Evian bottles into it. There was no time during our stay to get this fixed.
Reception and registration were friendly but technically poor. It was very annoying to have to get our room cards renewed on both days. We had kept them separate, not deactivated them, they just were not programmed for the duration of our stay. On booking I paid for parking, this was clear on the mails which came through encouraging me to buy more items as the trip approached. I had two mails requesting me to speed up my check in and duly checked in on line including entering the second guest details (why is his DOB needed?) and including updating on time of arrival and requesting that a car park space be available due to my mobility issue and need to cart in equipment. This was a complete waste of time as it all had to be repeated at the counter on arrival, keys were not ready, nothing was speedy. And this was after the stress of arriving and finding no legitimate parking space available.

It was a very special evening for myself and two daughters, the night before one of their weddings. The room was so special and absolutely beautiful. The staff went above and beyond to make our time special and also before hand helping me with the arrangements for the room and the after party. It was good, great location and easy for sightseeing. All staff including the cleaning staff were lovely and friendly.

Have been to the Hotel several times over recent years.
One observation would be the bathroom and the shower facility which was difficult to access for people of a certain age.

Great hotel and venue with helpful friendly staff, love the 4 poster room and layout easy to walk to various parts of the city with parking
