Great hotel and venue with helpful friendly staff, love the 4 poster room and layout easy to walk to various parts of the city with parking

Lovely hotel, would definitely revisit. Great location, great pizza's, friendly staff. Room was very clean .

Very convenient location only 10 minutes walk from the centre. Clean and comfortable room if a little small. Pizzas are good.
The parking is the only negative! £18 a night is too much for hotel parking. It ought to be free if you are staying at the hotel. This is compounded by the fact that the hotel ask you to move your car at checkout time and not park until check in. This is wrong as you do not actually get 24 hours parking for your money. They did say we could ask if we wanted to park early or stay but thankfully we didn't need to.

All perfect for are little break in York very comfortable bed and a great breakfast the staff was very friendly on checking in would definitely recommend and can't wait for my next trip in to York

We must of stayed at the Churchill 5/6 times over 8/9 years. It is completely unique inside and always clean, this is very important to us. Unfortunately only there for one night this time, everything was a bit of a rush. Would we stay again? YES Forgot to buy a bottle of Churchill Gin!- Next time

A bit of a let down as the web site pictures were very different from reality.
The room if it had been to standard and the cleaning up to standard then I would have lived my stay

Most enjoyable. The room was reasonable size and very comfortable. The location was very quiet despite being so central. We will definitely return!

The staff were all very friendly and appeared very happy in their work. We have never come away from a hotel so so impressed by the staff
