As a monthly regular, I always enjoy my stay. Great service - welcoming and friendly and the room is perfect. Clean, comfy and with everything I need.

Overall I’d say there were some great parts, but equally there were just as many bad parts. So I’d give your hotel 3/5

We are sorry, however, that the follow-up service didn’t meet your expectations. It’s disappointing to learn there was confusion about housekeeping and towels, and that you needed to speak with reception to get this sorted. Lovely hotel in a great location. Unfortunately, during my stay the room was very hot and there was no hot water in the morning and the bed was 2 singles pushed together which made for a bad sleep, which is why the room is a 4/5 not 5/5. The staff lovely and welcoming and the breakfast great!

We had perfect stay at the Churchill Jotel in York. We loved everything about the hotel, from staffs, hospitality services, F&B, location and facilities. Nice and pleasant short-walk to major tourists attraction, namely, York Minister, Shambles, York City Walls, etc.

Well as it’s about the fourth time we’ve returned I think it says it all. It’s our go to York hotel.

Lovely short stay close to York city centre would definitely stay here again friendly helpful staff very polite made us feel very welcome

Overall the Churchill Hotel is a very nice establishment, the staff are great, polite & very helpful.

It’s especially rewarding to hear that the room’s cleanliness and design lived up to your expectations, although I’ll be sure to pass on your feedback about early morning noise to the relevant team.

Regarding your comments about parking prices, we do strive to keep our car park charges in line with other central York hotels, as complimentary parking isn’t typically available in our area. While we have no control over the way third-party websites, such as Booking.com, present our fees, we ensure that all our charges are listed consistently across platforms.
