Two nights stay over the weekend. Fantastically welcoming and helpful staff. Breakfast was a bit loud. But that had nothing to do with the hotel, just a family that couldn't talk at normal volume.

Excellent. Lovely helpful staff and a free upgrade. Couldn't ask for more. Beds lovely and comfy as usual.

Molto buona. Personale molto disponibile e gentilissimo.
Posizione molto vicina al centro della città. Parcheggio adiacente all'Hotel. Colazione ottima.

The hotel staff were really friendly, our room was clean but the hotel is showing signs of tiredness but overall I would definitely stay there again mainly for the staff and the closeness to York centre

Great hotel staff and location. Clean comfortable. Reasonable prices for food and drinks. Lovely bear garden and pizza oven in grounds.

Customer service from Ian at the reception when we arrived and when we left was the best I've had. He was clearly passionate about York and loved people! He was so good with our kids too. My kids even made him drawings of the Cat Hunt to give before we left. Thank you Ian!

We booked through booking.com for a long weekend in celebration of my husbands birthday. Upon arrival we discovered our room was not what we were expecting, this was down to us not understanding the room description correctly during the booking process. The staff on duty at the time we booked in and the following morning ( I think they were Dan, Rachael, Kelsey & Molly ) were all extremely helpful and understanding of the reasons we were unable to use the room, they all went above and beyond expectations to arrange alternative accommodation for our stay. All the staff throughout our stay were always polite, helpful, knowledgeable about the hotel as well as York itself and were always friendly. We will definitely be back.
