We love this hotel, and enjoyed our last minute overnight stay.
We are already booked in again for Xmas with our family.

I was just slightly disappointed at the cost of the parking.

Loved our stay, the bed was super, very comfortable which made for a good night’s sleep. Easy to walk to town and back.

Very enjoabe stay! Made to feel welcome the moment we arrived, loved Ian on reception, very entertaining chap and very helpfull too. There was another lovely aldy on reception also, but i did not catch her name. We will return for another stay, we absolutly ;oved the character and charm of the place.

Was an excellent stay well priced and the staff were very good and attentive. Food on offer at breakfast was excellent and served to you was a lovely change

We found ourselves unexpectedly stranded in York for the evening, with no change of clothing or toiletries. We managed to get a room at the Churchill through Booking.com, and found ourselves treated so well by the desk staff (Ian), that our evening became a most pleasant adventure instead of just a stop on a trip. The food and accomodations were amazing, and the service stellar. Ian even made sure that we had toothbrushes and a VERY nice room. This is a gem of a hotel, with amazing staff!

We visit york every year and always return to the churchill , its a wonderful place and we will continue to return

Overall it was good. But next time I may choose a hotel closer to center. Also, as stated above, showering was a disappointment.

The front of staff were amazing and very helpful. The room itself was beautiful, very clean and it was a lovely place to stay in
