Outstanding staff, who operate with a friendly competence. Food is very good, and a joy to eat.

We would recommend the hotel.

Did not live up to expectations as already explained earlier in appraisal. Gateway tight when turning in left from Bootham, parking spaces tight and we couldn’t see any spaces for Disabled Parking.

Excellent especially the welcoming, friendly service from the Reception staff. We have stayed at the Churchill many times over recent years and have always experienced the same pleasant, helpful attitude.

Had a lovely stay in york as usual however this time we were unable to book the pod as we have in previous years as there was no option for two people on line.

Wonderful! We will return - and have already done so several times. The Churchill is our 'go to' place in York. The whole team are fantastic and very welcoming and friendly, the rooms spot on and the bar and restaurant great. Perfect location for an easy stroll into town and an on site car park is a bonus.

Lovely! The staff were really excellent, we went just before Christmas when I’m sure they’d like to be with their loved ones they still made us feel really special.
