very good, apart from what has been mentioned, would probably not return as the hotels location served a purpose for this visit

Clean hotel. Good check in experience. Value considering there were three adults in a room. Tried to eat at the restaurant or beer garden and couldn’t get in

Not very satisfied, room standard was appalling when compared to what i paid, was expecting more, they even charged £18 a night for car parking, parking should be free if staying as a guest, terrible decision to charge visiting overnight customers parking

The Churchill hotel was the ideal place for my partner and I, it was close to the city centre and the staff were really friendly.

Lovely room as usual, slightly offended by the welcome but the checking out was very friendly and professional

Had a lovely stay. The hotel is in a great location with a nice vibe, clean room (though bathroom was weeny), breakfasts were great and staff were amazing.

Reception staff very helpful and the gentleman's knowledge of the are was wonderful. Perhaps car parking price could be £15.00 per night.

Wonderful, as always. We have been many times over the last couple of years and find Churchills to be a lovely place to stay. Service is first class, rooms are lovely, Beer Garden is a delight to sit out and has a wonderful atmosphere and we have got to know many of the staff who are very friendly and helpful.

Great location. Only a 10 minute stroll to the heart of York. The rooms were spacious and clean. The bathroom was lovely.
