Excellent will book earlier next time to get a bigger room as bottom was a bit small out requests were met which was lovely

We have stayed at The Churchill many times now. Everything is always good and the staff are kind and friendly. The menu is excellent and the chef inspired.

I would strongly recommend The Churchill to all visitors to York. The location is great, a short walk to The Minster and the shopping, traditional unique and reminiscent of times gone by.

An amazing place to stay, but the management and staff are exceptional and make The Churchill what it is.

Absolutely amazing! It was our wedding anniversary and a member of staff in reception upgraded our room to a stunning room. It was so incredibly kind of him and our experience at your hotel was just brilliant. Staff in your hotel were just lovely. We have stayed there twice now and we will definitely return and recommend your hotel to our friends and family. Gorgeous hotel. Thank you for the great memories!

It was very pleasant just had higher expectations since paying similar price for a hotel in London and was alot posher

Churchill’s always our favourite hotel for the
last 24 years. Wasn’t able to use the restaurant this time but often do and always excellent .

Very nice hotel, beautiful rooms but on a personal note I don’t like wardrobes without doors and there was nowhere to put the suitcases away

Nice hotel in a good position with parking a bonus. Staff very friendly and helpful, nice bar area and outside space.
