Our stay was perfect for our honeymoon. The staff and the Prince of Wales room were exceptional. It made our special day.

Great hotel in a fantastic location. About 20 minute walk from the station. Does have parking but this is £18 a night and there are limited spaces. Rooms were gorgeous. Shower was lovely and powerful. Will definitely stay there again. We had a lovely time!

Nice hotel well positioned close to both railway station and city centre. Good car parking but a little expensive at £18 per night. Other than that can recommend for a few nights away.

Room 139 was a bit dungeony, restaurant was nice. Forgot toothbrush which was kindly sent to our house

The hotel food offering has declined I'm over the 20 years we have been going. Limited choice and getting expensive. English breakfast was poor with bacon way, way overcooked to the point of being inedible.

Lovely friendly staff & I felt comfortable as a solo traveller.

It was a little underwhelming because of the quality of the premise as well as the cost! I’m glad we were only there one night.

The beer garden was lovely!
