There are no words to describe the Churchill hotel it’s amazing this is our second time here and we love it . Staff are lovely nothing is any trouble . Ian on reception is lovely full of knowledge and we always have a laugh with everyone there .
The staff even moved there cars so we could park .

Lovely location, hotel has everything. Excellent for the money. Nice warm bedroom and bed was comfortable. Breakfast was very good. Staff very nice and helpful

The hotel was lovely! The staff very friendly and welcoming. The only issue we had was the service in the restaurant, it took over 2 hours to get and eat 2 courses, with dirty plates not cleared away. We appreciate it was busy and gathered there was staffing issues but felt this could not fully account for the slow service. We did mention this to the manager and his response was absolutely brilliant! He took the desert of the bill and offered a free drink at the bar. We would definitely stay at this hotel again

Second time we have stayed at the Churchill hotel and my wife and I cannot fault it . The room was great and spotlessly clean . The only down side is the extra £18 per day charge ,for parking .

Very nice hotel. We will stay again but book direct and ask for a larger room. Breakfast was good and overall we enjoyed our stay.

Very good. The staff were great and made you feel welcome. Doing little things like offering a blanket to my father in his wheelchair to take on a walk in to York.

We definitely will return.

Excellent staff both in the hotel and restaurant. Super breakfasts with a great choice although a bit pricey if you just want a continental one.

Overall we were impressed with the hotel but unsure about a return visit as felt not great value for money.
