Our stay at the Churchill Hotel was good in an attractive building, clean and comfortable room, friendly staff and very good location.
We were disappointed with the room having no window as we only found this out on entering the room. It felt a bit like being in a basement and was also very warm/stuffy although we could open the skylight as fortunately it didn't rain much during our stay.

It was all great except for one thing really - the cleaning staff were incredibly noisy. Having loud conversations for lengthy periods in the corridors and slamming doors. We really were trying to enjoy some peace and quiet but we had to ask them to keep it down. Also, they woke us both up by hammering on another door at 6.45am. Then loads of chatting and loud voices and slamming doors.

Our overall experience was perfect. There was nothing I would complain about. The service is consistently amazing, the staff are always very friendly and the rooms are extremely comfortable. The bunker is my favourite room as without windows at night time it is pitch black which gave us both the best night's sleep we have had in a long time. The location of the Churchill is amazing as even as somebody with bad legs and hips it is only a very short walk to the town. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Very enjoyable weekend away. The staff were helpful and the location suited us perfectly.
Pizzas in the igloo were fun

Very good. Clean and nice room. Room was a little small and could hear the room next door and trains going by. However comfortable, good service and close to town.

Staff couldnt do enough for us, we bought a rascal from Bettys tearooms and they offered to heat it up for us!! Over and above! Thank you

Very pleased with the Hotel overall although the room and bathroom size was disappointing for the cost in our opinion.
Service from all hotel staff was excellent with a couple of minor niggles which are easily fixable and which would, as someone who has worked in hospitality, be expected at this level.
