Beautiful hotel with very efficient friendly staff and delicious food. The location is very convenient for York tourist attractions.

Very poor and wouldn't recommend it to family and friends if asked. Location is good, breakfast was good but room very poor.

Very comfortable and relaxed. Only problem was the inconsistent heating, one evening the radiator was on all the time, another evening it wasn’t on at all.

Great hotel in a good location. I have stayed twice now and will choose this hotel the next time I’m in York

We have stayed her a couple of times before and since finding this hotel we wouldn’t book to stay anywhere else. The place is filled with Churchill memorabilia and has been sympathetically renovated to the buildings era. The staff are wonderful and have always gone above and beyond to ensure your stay is just perfect, nothing is too much trouble. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting York

A lovely little hotel but please don't cheat your customers with substandard food and expect them to pay the bill as if nothing was wrong!

We also note your feedback regarding car parking charges. Unfortunately, complimentary parking is extremely uncommon for hotels located in central York, and we make every effort to keep our pricing in line with others in the area. Really lovely hotel. Staff were lovely and friendly. Good facilities. Great place to stay. Looked so pretty with Christmas decorations.
