Excellent. Wonderful friendly, helpful, happy staff. Supurb breakfast and spotless rooms. The hotel is well situated to travel by train and explore York by foot and the team made us feel so welcome-nothing was too much trouble. Great mix of contemporary and vintage styling and a fabulouz beer garden.

Everything was good. Ian gave us a terrific welcome. Close walk to walled city and restaurants. My only disappointment was having to pay £18 for guest parking

Schönes, eindrucksvolles Gebäude mit wunderschönem, lauschigem Garten. Alles sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Tolle Lage.
Der Wasserdruck in der Dusche war extrem niedrig und das Wlan funktionierte im Zimmer nur bedingt.

Everything was delightful and I would certainly return if I was going to York
We came by train, and it was only a ten minute walk to the hotel

Great stay shame about the boiling room not sure why the heating was on during a heatwave! Not able to get good nights sleep. Breakfast excellent

Very good. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Only issue was the loo blocked in the morning when we got up.
