Great family room, comfy beds, excellent shower and in a great location. Only thing that let us firm (a bit) was breakfast being felt liked tucked away in a hall way!

The staff were helpful and friendly and overall we had a very good stay. There are so many places to eat and drink in town and we were only in town a couple of days.

Friendly staff, clean rooms, food excellent and location spot on. The breakfast options are great and the food is first class.

Friendly & helpful staff. Had a lovely warm welcome & assistance with location & walking directions to the centre of York.
The room was simply beautiful, the bridal suite is huge with lovely views over the front garden and fabulously decorated. Truly relaxing experience at a great location.

Very well-run hotel in an older building. Furnishings and fittings in the room were to a high quality. No air-con, but this was a welcome change to having the constant background noise. Staff at reception, restaurant and bar all highly motivated to make our stay as pleasant as possible.

We really enjoyed our stay at The Churchill Hotel in York. The small double rooms are compact but comfortable and perfectly adequate for a short break. The hotel itself is full of character, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was a real highlight — amazing quality with plenty of options to choose from. The location is ideal for exploring the city, making it a great base for a visit to York.

We really enjoyed our stay and have booked to go back, we stayed on the lower floor room was clean and nice but abit dark in but other than that great place to stay

I’ve stayed here 3 or 4 times now and have always found the staff friendly and the rooms clean & comfy. The beer garden and pizza shed are a great addition.

Wonderful greeting and on-going customer service with both Rachel and Ian. The lady working in the atrium/restaurant didn't quite mirror the same professional and warm approach.

Pretty good stay, nice staff and great location. They were flexible with the paid parking too - arriving early and leaving later for free. One main thing is that you send me far too many emails. For one hotel stay, to get over 16 emails (yes, I counted) is just very annoying and ridiculous.
