Polite staff, very helpful, we have been to the hotel before so we know the lay out of the rooms.

Let down would of stayed two nights ended up moving to across the road to stay at NO1 instead.. overpriced for what it is especially to be greeted by the man I was.. you would of thought he owned the place

Lovely polite staff, great area, beautiful bar and gardens, was expecting a little more from the room

Really enjoyed the stay. Great room with bags of character. Breakfast good but very confusing as to what we were getting for the price. Good distance from the city centre.

We had a really lovely stay. It was not our first stay and it definitely won’t be our last. We love this hotel, it’s in a great location and is beautiful inside and out. The staff are so warm and friendly and we always feel at home. This was our first time having breakfast in the hotel and it was cooked to order so it was lovely and fresh and delicious.

We will continue to come here as all staff are friendly. Would be nice to get a discount on parking, particularly when we do stay often.

Complimentary parking is quite rare for hotels in the centre of York, and we do aim to ensure our fees remain competitive with other options in the area. Whilst not a discount on car parking there is the discount code of 'repeat' that we give out at the desk to offer a reduced room rate; to access this either add this as the promo code when booking on our website or give us a call.

Great and recommended to anyone. Location is easily walkable to all the attractions of York. Staff are friendly, rooms are comfortable and bathroom was lovely.

We really enjoyed our 2 night stay and will be visiting again. All the staff were really friendly. It was nice to sit out in the garden area even in October and the pizza's from the pizza oven were great.

The Hotel was in a good location. However, I felt the price should have included the Car Parking! & the breakfast.

Really enjoyed. We had stayed the night before in a different hotel and decided to stay another day. There was one room available at the Churchill, only a small double. We were absolutely fine with this, it served its purpose. We ate I. The restaurant in the evening - had flatiron steak. My husbands was cooked fine, mine was a little over done but not worth comp,wining about. Staff were great, polite and fun. Breakfast in the morning was superb. I only drink Bacardi, which isn’t at this hotel however there was another rum which was pretty close. Would stay here again and definitely recommend to others. A great quirky hotel!
