Perfect place to stay for a mini city break. Could have done with a wardrobe rather than the rack for all out clothes.

Lovely Hotel
Close to centre
Friendly staff

A lovely relaxing break so central for all York amenities.
York Minster shopping and cafes etc
Next break will try one of the river
cruises

Very pleasant stay. Beautiful hotel, with a very nice bear garden. Best breakfast I've had in any hotel in Britain!

The hotel was recommended by 2 separate people so I’m sad it was so disappointing. It’s looking worn down in the guest areas and our room was very poor. So poor I actually wondered if they had given us a room that wasn’t actually supposed to be stayed in.

Had the pizza, very tasty in a lovely garden setting. Rooms clean. Staff friendly especially the reception staff. A mind full of info and even had earplugs!! ( For hubby's beer snoring).

We really enjoyed our stay! Loved the pizza and the garden! We even went back early on our last day to just sit outside in the chairs and enjoy being outside! Very friendly service!
