We had an early check in (12pm) which was very good, we dropped off the bags and went straight into York to do some sightseeing. We checked in on line before we got to the hotel so when we arrived there was no fuss at all. You can tell that the staff enjoy their work and get on with each other, they were all genuinely happy to help you have the best experience for your stay with them. Its a beautiful hotel in a beautiful city, we would definitely go back. The only thing that we regret is not going to the restaurant, people who we spoke with said that the food was fantastic.

Loved the hotel and staff my brother is very ill and as soon as he's ok I hope to take him there was very impressed with the hotel and staff

First time we have stayed at the Churchill-we come to York a lot and normally stay at a well know national hotel but from now on we will book in here. Lovely hotel, beautiful building, great location and nice staff.

It was an easy stay with very good amenities. The only issue was the shower took a while to get hot but very good otherwise

Excellent, however the car parking is tricky & someone had double parked when we were leaving, the entrance gate is a bit tight

Very pleasant, good location, very nice staff. Small car park but manageable. Bit steep to pay car parking charges when staying at the hotel, but understandable

very enjoyable. Such a shame somebody was drilling outside our bedroom at 9am.Parking charge of £15 was also not mentioned on arrival or at the time of booking,that was slightly disappointing.

Fab stay, will definitely be back! from the welcome on arrival to the quality and cleanliness of rooms including the complimentary items to the beautiful breakfast nothing to fault!
