Overall, it was a lovely room but the fancy blankets on the bed were dusty! Very dusty! Also, having places to put suitcases would be helpful! With four people in the room, we had suitcases on the floor, one on chairs and one on the suitcase holder!

We had one night stay at the Churchill and spent 2 very busy days exploring the wonderful city of York. Hotel in great location.
Our visit was made even better by staying in the Bunker Room. What a treat.
Thanks to the manager for explaining the history of the hotel and our room.
Will stay at the Churchill again.

We loved the room and the service we recieved was really good . The only thing we would suggest is an extra towel in the room and parking is very expensive when you have already paid so much for room . On the whole though we really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be returning . We may try the restaurant in the evening next time as it looked so pretty all lit up at night .

Generally a good stay and I would book again, close to town and people seemed really lovely and friendly

Very good. Room is quite snug but for one night that's fine. Comfy bed, window that opens, nice bathroom

Great location, great garden, clean room but small and very hot when the it’s warm weather

Great hotel over all in a position close to the town. It has good facilities excellent food and very polite and friendly staff
