Great hotel excellent staff so cheerful and helpful perfect location for city so near to everything. Clean and spacious lovely beer garden. Excellent breakfast evening dineing available although we did eat out at night as weather was so good we walked into city and dined while we were out. Reception staff were always available with a smile and helping hand a perfect enjoyable stay. Thank you to everyone.

We were met on our arrival by John who checked us in and offered us an upgrade to Room 104 (Prince of Wales Suite). The room was beyond our expectations and completely changed our stay at the Hotel and the room definitely has the WOW factor.
The staff we came in contact with were friendly, professional and all liked a laugh and some banter. During our stay, we had more contact with Ian and Rachel, who always went the extra mile to answer our questions and always greeted us with a smile.
Our breakfast and dinner times were enjoyable and we would recommend using the restaurant for food and drink.

Was a very nice room and hotel lovely staff downfall was a very loud motor bike late at night leaving the car park but was hovering for a while very loud and no air con VERY VERY hot

We enjoyed our stay and all was good , I did say we was there to celebrate my wife’s 66 birthday , and a printed happy birthday message on a A 4 sheet of paper greeted us in our room(poor) you shouldn’t have bothered ,,, maybe in future a birthday card , or a small individual cake with happy birthday on the plate in chocolate

Very good. Car parking so close to town is very convenient. The service from Ian & the team is excellent.

Very comfortable, convenient and friendly. Great place as a base for enjoying York city centre. Car parking on site is a big plus.

My only complaint is that I couldn't get the wifi to work - although it obviously didn't matter that much, as I didn't check with reception. Overall - very good.
