Staff were very friendly and happy to give us recommendations. We had a comfortable stay at this hotel and wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

It was good, great location and easy for sightseeing. All staff including the cleaning staff were lovely and friendly.

Have been to the Hotel several times over recent years.
One observation would be the bathroom and the shower facility which was difficult to access for people of a certain age.

Great hotel and venue with helpful friendly staff, love the 4 poster room and layout easy to walk to various parts of the city with parking

Very convenient location only 10 minutes walk from the centre. Clean and comfortable room if a little small. Pizzas are good.
The parking is the only negative! £18 a night is too much for hotel parking. It ought to be free if you are staying at the hotel. This is compounded by the fact that the hotel ask you to move your car at checkout time and not park until check in. This is wrong as you do not actually get 24 hours parking for your money. They did say we could ask if we wanted to park early or stay but thankfully we didn't need to.

In central York, free parking is extremely rare, and we do our best to keep our charges in line with other hotels in the area. As for the parking duration, we try to balance demand with limited space, but we’re glad you found our team willing to be flexible around your check-in and check-out needs.

All perfect for are little break in York very comfortable bed and a great breakfast the staff was very friendly on checking in would definitely recommend and can't wait for my next trip in to York

We must of stayed at the Churchill 5/6 times over 8/9 years. It is completely unique inside and always clean, this is very important to us. Unfortunately only there for one night this time, everything was a bit of a rush. Would we stay again? YES Forgot to buy a bottle of Churchill Gin!- Next time
