If I’m ever back in York this is where I will be staying. Lovely character hotel with very friendly staff. We were a little late for breakfast but they catered for us and cooked and served us a beautiful plate of food

I had a great stay at this hotel. The staff were friendly and professional, making check-in and check-out smooth and efficient. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, with everything I needed for a pleasant stay. The location was convenient, with easy access to local attractions, restaurants, and transportation. I also appreciated the quality of the amenities, including the on-site dining and fitness center. Overall, it was a positive experience, and I would happily stay here again.

This was our first time staying in York, we were able to get checked in and hop on a bus to the Howard Castle with the help of the front desk. Everything turned out wonderful love love, love.!!

Really great - best place we've stayed for the money in a long time. The fella managing the beer garden when we were there (with neck tattoos) was amazing - special thanks to him!

The hotel is well located and the "Bunker" room was just brilliant! The room was clean and well presented. It was great to have connected rooms. Car parking and breakfast should have been included in the room cost as these were VERY expensive on top of the room cost. The breakfast was over priced and average. Service was excellent and reception staff were very welcoming. Overall a really enjoyable stay.

We love the hotel and staff are always great. Stopped many times and will still return even with the issues we had this time.
