We had a lovely stay at the Churchill and would highly recommend it to anyone we speak to or from this review.
Everything was great from reception to breakfast waiting staff.
In actual fact the two gentlemen that were on reception Saturday, Sunday and Monday daytime were wonderful. Happy to help and inform - thank you.

A very welcoming hotel as soon as we arrived in a great location
Reception staff very helpful and full of local knowledge and suggestions

We enjoyed our stay. Our room was very comfortable. We liked the bar and option to order food there for more casual dining.

Very enjoyable. Staff were wonderful, extremely friendly, and knowledgeable. The only slight issue was the hot water temperature, particularly in my parents room 122. No hot water some mornings and evenings, and when was had to run for a very long time and was tepid most of the time.

The staff were excellent, very friendly, helpful, and intuitive. Especial thanks to Ian at reception and the breakfast waiter (whose name I don’t know) who remembered our likes/dislikes after the first morning. We chose the hotel because it had a car park but did think the charge for it excessive.

We understand your concerns regarding the car parking charge. As with most hotels situated in the centre of York, complimentary parking isn't generally available, but we do try our best to offer competitive rates.
