Very pleased with the Hotel overall although the room and bathroom size was disappointing for the cost in our opinion.
Service from all hotel staff was excellent with a couple of minor niggles which are easily fixable and which would, as someone who has worked in hospitality, be expected at this level.

I would stay here again. Our visit was in January, so it was very cold. We would stay here again, but when it's warmer and for a minimum of 2 nights. Shame the Hotel doesn't offer any discounts for repeat guests. Maybe equalling what Wowcher offers (discounted price & free prosecco), but with free parking and 2 or more nights added into the offer

It was an amazing hotel, and amazing location.
Wish there was more choice in the bar,
The staff were very knowledgeable and gave us directions to the popular locations.

Wonderful. The only reason we didnt have breakfast dinner or use the bar was due to making the most of exploring gorgeous York

The size of the room let it down massively, why youd put people in a tiny room when there were larger rooms available as it was fully booked out

Comfortable stay in a lovely building. Short walk from attractions, station and shops. Beds were really comfortable. Only negative was the small basin in the bathroom.

We had an early check in (12pm) which was very good, we dropped off the bags and went straight into York to do some sightseeing. We checked in on line before we got to the hotel so when we arrived there was no fuss at all. You can tell that the staff enjoy their work and get on with each other, they were all genuinely happy to help you have the best experience for your stay with them. Its a beautiful hotel in a beautiful city, we would definitely go back. The only thing that we regret is not going to the restaurant, people who we spoke with said that the food was fantastic.

Loved the hotel and staff my brother is very ill and as soon as he's ok I hope to take him there was very impressed with the hotel and staff

First time we have stayed at the Churchill-we come to York a lot and normally stay at a well know national hotel but from now on we will book in here. Lovely hotel, beautiful building, great location and nice staff.
