Great hotel, staff and location. Lovely breakfast. We had a small room but very comfortable, perfect for a weekend break. Will definitely return.

Absolutely love staying at The Churchill, weve found our hotel so no need to ever look around for other places to stay in York. Great to have a car park too. Its been winter time when weve visited but would love to stay in summer and use the outside bar in the garden.

Brilliant - we will be back. Ournew favourite York hotel. We will book the outdoor pods next time. The pizza looked great.

Very good its a very comfortable hotel. The lounge seating area is a bit stark and modern for us but we are old.

Just a fabulous birthday weekend back at the Churchill after our last stay early 2000s prior to refurbishment in 2006. It wont be so late no before we return!!

El hotel es muy lindo tiene una decoración muy particular, llama la atención la zona de comedor y el bar. Su personal es muy acogedor y amable. La ubicación es estupenda y cuenta con estacionamiento.

As a particular hotel brand loyalist, we stepped out by staying at The Churchill. The reviews of the property for the hotel chain were too inconsistent, which is not common, so it made us second guess staying there. We took this chance to change it up, and we are so glad we did!

Our stay at The Churchill enhanced our stay in York - from the casual, friendliness of the staff to the history of the rooms in the main building (one of party got to stay in the Prince of Wales suite!!) to the decorations dedicated to Churchill himself, the experience was one these Texans will never forget!

Thank you to The Churchill team for making our England adventure memorable!
