Very good. Small double, but clean with everything we needed. Location to city excellent. Bar and beer garden very good. Car parking, a bonus. Staff all freindly, helpful and polite.

Excellent. Very well located. Clean. The car parking was functional and not too expensive. A very good stay overall.

Stayed here before and had a great weekend and food in the evening which was delicious
We decided to go back for my wife’s birthday and had a lovely room
The staff are all great especially on reception
Had beautiful breakfast in the morning

Great hotel in an excellent location. Room was small but nice. Very clean. Bed and pillows comfortable. The shower could not be used as the temperature was too hot and could not be adjusted.

Overall experience was excellent, the only negative was that the toiletries didn't smell very nice. That would not stop me from staying here arain though, I'd judt bring my own soap and shower gel next time!

Used to visit the hotel 30 yrs ago when my friend was at university. Always had dinner at The Churchill.

One thing that wasn’t good was having to pay an extra £18 tomato overnight in the hotel even though we were guests. Not impressed with that at all.

A most enjoyable experience in a beautiful city.
Also an advantage to have the secure parking with good sized bays.
