Very convenient location only 10 minutes walk from the centre. Clean and comfortable room if a little small. Pizzas are good.
The parking is the only negative! £18 a night is too much for hotel parking. It ought to be free if you are staying at the hotel. This is compounded by the fact that the hotel ask you to move your car at checkout time and not park until check in. This is wrong as you do not actually get 24 hours parking for your money. They did say we could ask if we wanted to park early or stay but thankfully we didn't need to.

We appreciate your honest thoughts regarding car parking charges. We do understand how frustrating it can feel, particularly when the cost is an added consideration on top of the room rate. In central York, free parking is extremely rare, and we do our best to keep our charges in line with other hotels in the area. As for the parking duration, we try to balance demand with limited space, but we’re glad you found our team willing to be flexible around your check-in and check-out needs.
