The Churchill Hotel

Shame that there wasnt a better choice of food. Only pizzas in bar and menu was not that ideal for a family in the restaurant and a bit pricey. We would have eaten in the hotel if the menu was more varied for families.
Overall a lovely small hotel

Wonderful stay .. was an absolute pleasure, i could not fault a thing , beautiful decorations for Christmas and reception staff were professional and friendly

Parking. Staff were welcoming without being gushing. A professional setup and yes when we are in York again, wouldn't stay anywhere else.

Really enjoyed our two nights stay, great location for the city. The hotel is well appointed with very nice & helpful staff. Its just a shame that hotel rates are so high in the area otherwise we would visit York more often & stay at the Churchill. Instead we will look for the lowest (similar rated) hotel in the area in future.

We have used this hotel on many occasions and would highly recommend it the staff ans service are excellent

Overall, satisfied. Definitely would consider staying again. Car park charge is slightly expensive, but very convenient location.

Loved it as always. Just a lovely hotel.great staff. Great food. Spotless clean. Easy to walk into town.

We enjoyed our stay and room very comfortable. The service let it down - no heating in our room and no hot water in the evening for a bath. We were told they would it but it remained cold so they bought in a portable heater. Still lukewarm water and full bins. You shouldn't have to ask for toilet rolls. TV remote did not work very well also. Parking also pricey a d should be included in the price.

Lovely stay. Would stay again and would recommend to family and friends. Staff were helpful and professional at all times.
