Good service in the hotel bar, restaurant and reception, a small room for a family. The food in the restaurant was good quality and the portion sizes generous.

The short break was for my daughter's 40th birthday and along with my sister, we all enjoyed our stay at The Churchill. We had just one small niggle about our room as it was cold. The radiator did come on but did little to warm the room up. Other than that, very enjoyable.

We found the hotel was within walking distance to centre of York which was great for us we
Did not need our car once we parked up in Churchill's car park.
Food was good and we would definitely book the hotel again.

A very good experience, we always are pleased to returned to the Churchill. The staff are friendly attentive and provide a very good service.

Good experience. Would suggest that a shower matt be made available in the room as the shower tray was very smooth and could be prone to slip on the wet surface while showering

Excellent quirky hotel close to the centre of York. Staff were lovely and reallY enjoyed my night cap in the bar.

Very relaxing stay.. Would definitely stay again. Staff were friendly and helpful, I would definitely stay again (next time with no kids lol )
