Lovely Hotel in a great location, city centre, good food, well stocked bar with pleasant staff. Just make sure you book the type of room you want. Description can be misleading.
" Superior Double" is actually a room in the cellar of the Hotel with almost no natural light and low ceiling. Very disappointing.

Lovely and will definitely stay here again staff breakfast room the grounds all top notch this is a lovely hotel thank you to all the staff

Good. A little more luxury in rooms would be appreciated. Staff very pleasant, attentive and helpful. Pizza from outside pizza truck was excellent. Mixed platter excellent also. Hotel food highly rated.

Great break with good hotel and great location. Would stay at this hotel again when I return to York.
