An excellent experience, and lived up to the 30th birthday celebrations we were there for. We would love to visit again at some point.

loved the hotel, will go back, the staff were amazing, rooms very smart, bar area was very relaxing and the restaurant was a very nice experience

Beautifull hotel, good food and service, worth his price.
Near the city centre.
We only missed a window in the "bunker" room.

Un peu déçu car le cadre est tellement beau mais l’essentiel est à revoir : literie à ressort, finition et surtout insonorisation des chambres.
Le chocolat chaud du matin nous a extrêmement déçu, à ce prix il pourrait être bon. Il n’y avait que de l’eau !

Staff very friendly, room was very comfortable and there was only a 5 min walk to town. All you need in a weekend break away.

Our overall experience was wonderful. Unfortunately we only stayed for one night, however we will return. The lady on reception mentioned how lovely Christmas markets and lights were so maybe back in November.

Excellent. The 'games/reading room' was lovely for retiring to after dinner and having a drink and letting the children play.

Great location 5 mins walk to the minster
Great service as always.
Only use this hotel when visiting York.
