A lovely New Years stay at The Churchill! Good food & drink with excellent service, warm and comfortable room.

Loved everything .location .. facilities and overall the staff .. really cant fault anything other than the parking charge .. £45 for parking was my disappointing point .. the hotel and experience was in total over£800 and money well spent .and will return to York in the summer . never only In London when no parking on site is available when that fee is charged very disappointing .. so when we return it may not be at the one of the most beautiful hotels Ive stayed in on principal .. great team of people and keep up the great service .. happy new year to all

Really pleasurable experience.Would love to give the outdoor pods a go next time we are in York. We will visit Churchills again!

Lovely hotel, would be happy to stay here again. The room we had booked was a small double which is suitable for one night, two at most. Staff were friendly, food was good.

Overall experience was excellent !! The Hotel is very well set out and has a lovely friendly atmosphere. Staff were all excellent. Room was very comfortable and had everything we needed and had a great sleep ! Great location too and somewhere I would defiantly come back to when in York !

Was excellent from checking in to check out. We had car parking included in our visit which was great.
The room was spacious, clean and ready for us even though we arrived a bit early.
Beds comfortable and great to have tea, coffee and chocolate in the room.

Noisy radiator and room too hot
Paid for a view but didnt get one
Igloo was cold and £20 is too expensive, £20 deposit is ok but to charge £20 just to use it is too much

We had a short break and had a great time, hotel was in excellent position and was only a short walk into city centre.

Brilliant visit. The hotel has a great atmosphere and all the staff are extremely helpful. We will definitely go back again and would highly recommend it.
