Very good would definitely stay again highly recommend lovely staff.
Just wish the heating would have come on room cold did report it but still didn't come on.
Towel radiator in the bathroom came away from the wall was pushed back on after we reported it but the plaster off the wall was left on the floor which I walked on.

Fantastic place great location friendly staff and ample parking. 200yrds to York Minster you're in the heart of York on minutes.

Really nice well placed hotel on outskirts of York. Do you need to charge so much for parking tho when ppl are paying for rooms etc only negative I have really enjoyable stay

Limited experience; room only as we were visiting our daughter and eating with her. Staff were very helpful and the bits of the hotel we saw were impressive.

We had a great couple of days. The hotel's location is perfect for a walk into the city centre and the pods in the hotel garden provide an impelling reason to come back early.

Comfortable, convenient and enjoyable (apart from the injury). Excellent breakfasts - good variety served in rather atmospheric dining room. Staff very helpful.

We had a great weekend in York, the hotel is nice and in a good location. However our room was opposite the railway track, which is fine as trains stop running overnight, but on our first night we was woken up to workers cutting the trees down at 1am; the work continued for 2 hours or so and was extremely loud, the windows are very thin meaning no noise is blocked out and we were unable to sleep. We had no warning of the work that took place so assumed it must of been an emergency job as the trees being cut down was surrounding the rail track, although we understand this may of been a necessity it was extremely inconvenient and frustrating as you dont go on a weekend away and expect not to be able to sleep.

Would come and stay again if and when we visit York. Can honestly say all staff were friendly and efficient.
