The Churchill Hotel

Very good, some minor defects in room 113, chrome covers missing from taps in shower, damaged mosaic tiling under was basin (sharp corner) and we sat wouldn’t stay up.

Location ideal staff was so helpful and clean and tidy - would definitely stay again Good was amazing too

Great hotel fab location have been before and will be back again when we visit york cant recommend this hotel enough

Excellent, the staff were friendly from the moment we arrived until we departed. Ian on reception was very friendly and efficient a great character. We will definitely recommend and we will go back again

We loved the hotel which is a lovely size (not too big) and so well decorated to a modern individual theme! It's in a brill position and will be great to sit outside in summer! The breakfast was one of the best I've ever had, proper fresh local ingrediants!! Totally fab stay, well done The Churchill!!

Good service in the hotel bar, restaurant and reception, a small room for a family. The food in the restaurant was good quality and the portion sizes generous.

booked a small double room for 2 nights for business trip - very small room but comfortable. Staff were excellent.

The short break was for my daughter's 40th birthday and along with my sister, we all enjoyed our stay at The Churchill. We had just one small niggle about our room as it was cold. The radiator did come on but did little to warm the room up. Other than that, very enjoyable.

We found the hotel was within walking distance to centre of York which was great for us we
Did not need our car once we parked up in Churchill's car park.
Food was good and we would definitely book the hotel again.
